I enjoyed reading your crab blog for the first time today. I still follow you on soundbite. I think I’m as addicted as you to crabbing. I do mine exclusively out in Manchester as I live out there and can just use my smokercraft and oars. Dungies were sort of discovered out there about five years ago. Regrettably each year the fishery has gotten a bit worse with not nealy as many 8-9 inchers but I still enjoy it. Sorry about your pot loss. It happens out in Manchester ocaissionally. What’s your favorite bait?–jim
What do I do if I don’t have my fishing license but have my catch amount?
Hey, Jim! Nice to see your name pop-up here! I use salmon guts almost exclusively. I buy them at Central Market or Silverdale Market. If that doesn’t work, then cheap turkey legs!…
I believe you can still enter your catch amount and submit your name and birthdate at the same time you submit your amount. They can figure it out on their end….Good Luck!
Diana: I’ve never encountered that before. There should be no threat whatsoever in accessing this blogsite!…
The above has to do with 2009, how do I report my catch for the 2010 season.
Patrick: Go here https://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/wa/crabreport
i did not go crabbing once this year. so i got 0 crab to report.
Kevin, I feel your pain. Our boat kept giving me fits, so we didn’t get out as much as we had wanted. Hopefully, they’ll extend the season again this year….
Both I and my sig. other tried to report w/o success on the day before it’s due. Even following Rich’s website suggestion….it wouldn’t take our ID and or DOC #’s……….and what’s up with the outdated site (2009) anyway????? We are upset and frustrated as we feel that the state will dock us the $ 10. late fee even though we couldn’t access the site!!!!!
Ramona: you found my article from last year! Here is a link to 2010. You should be able to follow the link, and enter your info yet today:
